In Sri Lanka we have 180,000 layer hen places for branded high quality eggs which are supplied to retailers, high quality exports to Maldives and food service locally under the brand of HAPPY HEN. We formulate and mix our own feed and make our own egg trays from recycled newspapers. We harvest rainwater and avoid antibiotics and growth promoters. We dry and process the litter in a separate farm for use as fertiliser in coconut plantations thereby running a low environmental impact business.
